The 2026 Soane Honors celebrates the spirit and legacy of Sir John Soane with our annual gala on Monday, October 26. Each year, the Soane Honors celebrates individuals and organizations that, like Soane himself, dare to challenge convention, spark imagination, and shape our cultural landscape with brilliance and grace. Learn more about this year’s honorees below, and join us as we celebrate Soane and them this fall.
This year, we are honored to recognize Thom Browne for innovative vision in fashion design and the Baltimore Museum of Art for excellence in exhibitions and collections stewardship.

Thom Browne is the Founder and Chief Creative Officer of the luxury fashion brand Thom Browne, internationally acclaimed for transforming the modern silhouette by questioning traditional proportions and reimagining a distinctly American sensibility rooted in tailoring. He is being honored as a visionary steeped in the history of fashion design.

The Baltimore Museum of Art was designed by the preeminent American classical architect John Russell Pope and is anchored by its renowned Cone Collection of Modern Art. Under the leadership of Asma Naeem, Dorothy Wagner Wallis Director, the BMA is being honored for its pioneering role in balancing institutional legacy with a bold and forward-looking artistic vision.
The Sir John Soane’s Museum Foundation, based in New York City, has supported Sir John Soane’s legacy and his remarkable house museum in London for more than thirty years. The Foundation offers a rich and growing array of lectures, travel opportunities, and fellowships for emerging scholars to study the Museum and its collections.
We invite you to join us in celebration of the enduring vision of Sir John Soane, and look forward to raising a glass together on October 26 at The Metropolitan Club of New York.
Every year the Soane Foundation celebrates Sir John Soane’s singular contributions as an architect and educator by bestowing The Soane Honors on present-day innovators, leaders, and visionaries in the fields of architecture, design, urban planning, preservation, and philanthropy at a celebratory gala dinner in an architecturally significant venue in New York City. Honors proceeds benefit Sir John Soane’s Museum Foundation and ultimately the Soane Museum in London.
